Submissions

Submissions may be sent to us at any time throughout the year regardless of our editorial calendar. We will do our best to respond in a timely fashion. If the current issue is considered full, the submission will be evaluated for inclusion in upcoming issues. Our deadlines provide adequate time for the editorial process, however some content may be scheduled for later publication because it requires additional time or fits better with upcoming themes.

Green Egg publishes two times a year:

Summer Solstice -       June 20th,    --- submission deadline June 10th.
Samhain -                   October 30th, --- submission deadline October 10th

Send submissions to --- greeneggsub@gmail.com ---

Fees:

NONE! By submitting material, you are providing it at no cost to the magazine or its editors, nor will Green Egg ever assess fees on authors for publishing content. Green Egg is a community-supported resource, and as such, our articles are written by volunteers who love being of service with their content to the Pagan community at large.

Cost:

Green Egg issues will be $3.50 to view the interactive online issue, and also a PDF download to keep and read at your convenience. Cost may increase depending on the size of the issue. Older issues of Green Egg will be $4.00 to $4.50 and will be available as PDF's only. We will announce these when they are available.

What themes does Green Egg accept?

Green Egg is open to any subject matter. Language is not an issue. We want our authors to have freedom of expression, and sometimes that freedom brings us subject matter that contains adult content. We sell the magazine to adults 18 years of age and older. Some of the subjects that come to mind are Calender of events - festivals, gatherings etc..., Podcasters events, homeopathy, medical issues, connections to indigenous traditions, your travels to festivals, group and grove happenings, crafts of all kinds, ritual tools, DYI's, herbs, trees, kitchen witchery, recipes,  spirituality and related technology, reviews of content in any media, e.g., books, video, audio, blogs, etc.... seasonal celebrations, special rites, poetic expression, and paganism in the professional world. Pretty much, if it effects your life and you want to write about it, Green Egg is interested in publishing it for you.
